2011 Buick Lacrosse is available in three models – CX, CXL and CXS. CXL comes with a new direct injection 3.0-liter V6, premium cloth seats and 17-inch wheels. The engine produces about 255 hp and 211 Nm of torque and matched to a six-speed automatic transmission.
CXL are equipped with a variant of the engine, heated leather seats, but with style, dual-zone automatic climate control, fog lights, outside mirrors with LED turn indicators and puddle lamps, and 18-inch wheels. AWD is available. The base 2011 Buick LaCrosse CX with the Ecotec 2.4-liter engine has a starting price of $26,995 and Buick expects about 25 percent of LaCrosse customers will buy this model.
Finally, the CXS comes with a more powerful 3.6-liter direct injection V6, real-time active damping suspension, perforated leather seats and chrome heated and cooled 18-inch wheels (19-inch optional) . The engine, mated to a six-speed automatic transmission, generates about 280 horsepower and 261 lb.-ft. of torque.
