2011 Subaru Trezia Has Been Released

The latest in a long line of Toyota-Subaru transformed as part of an ongoing collaboration between the two Japanese automakers. 2011 Subaru Trezia is essentially a rebadged Toyota Verso S (Ractis called in Japan), introduced in Europe at the Paris Motor Show this year.In power terms, 2011 Subaru Trezia equipped with 2 different engines, including a 1.3L engine and a 1.5L engine, the output power were 94hp and 107hp. It uses front-wheel drive, and provides four-wheel drive optional with 1.5L model , matching a CVT, fuel consumption is 43.3-47mpg.

Differences between Subaru Trezia and Verso-S twin is limited to the Refreshed 2011 Subaru Impreza like grille, chrome treatment on the rear doors and of course the Subaru logo. Everything, including the interior and even the wheels and the construction of the hub cover remains.

Toyota brings the FT-86 and Scion situation back

We’ve heard this before, and in trying to shift attention away from recall problems Toyota once again flashes the FT-86 in front of our eyes.

And, also unsurprising, Toyota wants to hit two birds with one stone by getting to actually keep Scion as a youth oriented brand.

This time however, we’re told about an eventual production ready version of the small performance Toyota 2+2 vehicle.
The latest news comes in that Toyota will call this the Scion FT-S.

Toyota FT-86 Concept

Even though it’s called a Scion just as before, like the last name, the engine seems to have changed.
In the latest news from the Japanese it seems the powerplant grew up to a 2.5 liter version, but no more details are available now.
Another juicy snippet of information in regards to the Toyota FT-86 and it’s in just how the new engine will deliver its power.
The eventual Scion FT-S would be rear wheel drive only. All the rumors of a possibly Toyota all wheel drive version have been killed off for a simple reason.
The Subaru part of the coupe’s development will come along later on and deliver just that sort of setup.

Now, when this actually happens, if you were to go for a Toyota Coupe with four wheel drive or a Subaru one?
I guess the answer clears up the situation so for a moment Toyota’s-Scion situation on the Toyobaru coupe.

Subaru Impreza Concept Review

Subaru calls this show car is a concept, but it is clear that a little less flash, which is basically the next generation of the Impreza. curly wings and rockets on the concept Impreza certainly remind us of the ongoing legacy, which means that when production starts the car, it could be the first time in over a decade of Subaru cars actually see some family likeness heavy. amoeba-shaped headlights Legacy are among the styling details are not transferred to this concept, instead replaced with racier units, similar to the Acura TL. Review of Subaru adds WRX-powered Forester S-Edition for Australia

Before your heart goes all aflutter at the thought of a factory Subaru Forester XTI, cool your jets a bit. It’s true that Subaru Australia has just pulled the sheets off of a more powerful Forester complete with nearly 260 horsepower and 256 pound-feet of torque, and yes, the high-rider packs a new five-speed automatic to replace the archaic four-speed slusher found on most Forester models. Drivers can even control shifts via a pair of paddles should the mood strike them. But this isn’t some slammed hardcore grocery getter. Instead, the Forester S-Edition, as it’s called, wears a slightly revised suspension cooked up from the minds at STI along with a few subtle aero tweaks outside.

Jump indoors and those from down under will enjoy a cabin trimmed in Alcantara bits, navigation and a rear view camera, all for a just a bit more than what you’d typically pay for a Forester XT in those parts.
Will we be getting anything similar? It certainly wouldn’t hurt our feelings, but we’d be surprised if Subaru suddenly decided to lay another model on top of its range-capping XT here in the land of the free.
