Review 2012 Fiat Freemont at Geneva Motor Show


2011 Geneva Auto Show will host the debut of the new Fiat Freemont, which goes on sale in the second half of 2011. Fiat Freemont built bottom Dodge Journey, is the first vehicle Fiat out of the partnership between the Chrysler Group. It will be produced in the Mexican plant of Toluca, where he made 500 for the U.S. market. Fiat Freemont dimensions (length 489 cm, width 188 cm and a height of 172 cm) for assurance of the outstanding interior roominess, aided by the wheelbase of the best in its category (289 cm).
2012 Fiat Freemont ensure maximum space, comfort and versatility due to its 7-passenger seating with a real third row seats spacious which are easily accessible when the doors open 90 degrees. The third row seats can be folded with a flick of disappearing under the floor and create a platform for regular load. The second row seats are mounted higher than at the front , while the third row is highlighted in relation to each other by giving maximum visibility to all passengers.  The vehicle’s very individual design includes muscular, decisive lines that are expressed in a front end with brand new bumpers and grille. The rear end has been redesigned with the adoption of a new bumper and LED tail lights.


Both series offer 7 seats, three-zone automatic climate control system, remote keyless entry, cruise control, trip computer, tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), fog lamps and touch screen radio color display and steering wheel controls. The most metropolitan areas include 17 “alloys, radio touch screen with 8.4 inch screen, SD card and a DVD player, Bluetooth, rear parking sensors, folding mirrors, automatic headlights, dark rear windows and roof bars.
Fiat Freemont is a front wheel drive turbo-diesel (140 bhp or 170 bhp 2.0 Multijet engine) with manual transmission. Later, the car is also available in 4×4 versions of the 2.0 Multijet 170 bhp and 276 bhp 3.6 V6 petrol, both with automatic transmission. With the exception of a powerful family of the 3.6-liter from Chrysler Group Pentastar, and its automatic transmission, all units are built and developed FPT-Fiat Powertrain. Safety is the top level with seven airbags, antilock brakes (ABS) with Brake Assist, Electronic Stability Program (ESP) and Hill Holder, and electronic roll mitigation (ERM) is standard on all vehicles
