2011 New Chevrolet Camaro SS Convertible Indy 500

Special-edition Chevrolet Camaro SS Convertible will serve as the official pace car of the 2011 Indianapolis 500. Chevrolet and Indianapolis Motor Speedway officials made the announcement at the Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale classic auto auction, where a bidder will have the opportunity to purchase the first of 50 Indianapolis 500 Festival Committee cars.
The pace car, along with the matching festival cars, features a Summit White exterior accented with orange stripes and door graphics. The instrument panel trim features extensions of the orange exterior stripes.Camaro Convertible Coupe offers unrivaled driving dynamics with the outside driving pleasure. The convertible model has an improved structure to eliminate the traditional compromise of open cars, balls, or tighten the wheel. The goal is a cabriolet, which works like a coupe. All elements of the powertrain and suspension of the current Cup Camaro convertible carryover unchanged. The summit has a smooth and responsive, with the acoustic foam in the roof which helps to ensure a quiet ride with the top up.
